O plenário do Tribunal de Contas da União fixou prazo de 60 dias para que o Ministério da Educação suspenda os pagamentos do programa Pé-de-Meia a beneficiários identificados com CPFs vinculados a pessoas falecidas entre 2009 e 2023. A determinação ocorreu em julgamento nesta quarta-feira 18.
A decisão também prevê o bloqueio dos valores depositados em contas poupança desses beneficiários. A medida se estende ainda à suspensão de incentivos destinados a estudantes identificados como falecidos nos anos de 2024 e 2025.
Além disso, o MEC deverá analisar casos em que há indícios de renda familiar per capita superior ao limite estabelecido pelo programa – em caso de inelegibilidade, a pasta terá de bloquear os pagamentos e cobrar a devolução de recursos. Prevaleceu o entendimento apresentado pelo ministro Benjamin Zymler, que acolheu um parecer da área técnica do TCU.
Segundo a determinação, o ministério ainda deverá realizar um pente fino no programa para identificar casos de estudantes que não estavam inscritos no Bolsa Família em janeiro de 2024 e não integravam famílias de baixa renda quando ingressaram no Pé-de-Meia.
A Corte também deu 60 dias para que o Ministério do Desenvolvimento e Assistência Social, avalie inconsistências relacionadas à utilização de CPFs de pessoas falecidas vinculados a beneficiários do programa.
