Uma mãe foi presa nesta quarta-feira, 18, suspeita de envolvimento na morte da própria filha, uma criança de cinco anos, no município de Várzea Alegre, no Cariri Cearense.
A genitora foi encaminhada à delegacia e autuada por homicídio doloso na modalidade omissiva imprópria (artigo 121 c/c art. 13, §2º, do Código Penal), que leva em consideração o dever legal de cuidado e proteção. As informações foram divulgadas pela Polícia Militar do Ceará (PM-CE).
A prisão da mulher foi realizada por policiais do Batalhão de Policiamento de Rondas e Ações Intensivas e Ostensivas (BPRaio). Os militares foram acionados via Coordenadoria Integrada de Operações de Segurança (Ciops) para verificar uma ocorrência achado de cadáver no bairro Ranchinho.
