Estupro em Manaus: preso homem que atacou mulher em 2015

A Polícia Civil do Amazonas (PC-AM), por meio do 19° Distrito Integrado de Polícia (DIP), cumpriu, nesta quarta-feira (18/03), mandado de prisão definitiva de um homem, de 49 anos, pelo crime de estupro praticado contra uma mulher, de idade não identificada. O crime foi praticado em 2015 no bairro Vila da Prata, zona oeste de Manaus.
De acordo com o delegado Ivo Martins, titular da unidade policial, na ocasião, o autor utilizou arma de fogo para abordar a vítima e conduzi-la a um terreno baldio.
Segundo a autoridade policial, a autoria foi confirmada por meio de exame de DNA colhido durante as investigações que estavam sendo conduzidas na época pelo 21° DIP.
"Foi constatado pela nossa equipe policial a existência do mandado de prisão em nome do indivíduo. Em razão disso, foi dado cumprimento à ordem judicial expedida pela 5ª Vara Criminal", relatou o delegado.
O homem já possui histórico criminal por furto e estupro, além de envolvimento em outros processos que tramitam em segredo de justiça.
Agora ele passará por audiência de custódia e permanecerá à disposição do Poder Judiciário.
