Ao todo, cerca de 35,2 milhões de benefícios terão o abono antecipado, com pagamento dividido em duas parcelas: a primeira será creditada entre 24 de abril e 8 de maio, enquanto a segunda está prevista para o período de 25 de maio a 8 de junho. O calendário segue o número final do cartão de benefício, desconsiderando o dígito verificador. Segundo o governo, a antecipação deve injetar aproximadamente R$ 78,2 bilhões na economia. Desse total, cerca de R$ 39 bilhões correspondem à primeira parcela e valor semelhante será pago na segunda etapa.
Terão direito ao benefício segurados que, ao longo de 2026, receberam aposentadoria, pensão por morte, auxílio por incapacidade temporária, auxílio-acidente, salário-maternidade ou auxílio-reclusão. Por outro lado, não recebem o 13º salário os beneficiários do Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC) e da Renda Mensal Vitalícia. Dados da folha de pagamento de fevereiro indicam que 23,3 milhões de benefícios — o equivalente a 66,2% do total — possuem valor de até um salário mínimo, atualmente fixado em R$ 1.621. Outros 11,9 milhões superam esse piso, sendo que 13,7 mil atingem o teto da Previdência Social, de R$ 8.475,55.
Tradicionalmente pago no segundo semestre, entre agosto e novembro, o 13º do INSS vem sendo antecipado nos últimos anos como estratégia para estimular a economia.
