O ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) André Mendonça autorizou nesta quinta-feira (19) a transferência do dono do Banco Master, Daniel Vorcaro, antes preso na Penitenciária Federal de Brasília, para a Superintendência da Polícia Federal, também no Distrito Federal.
A Polícia Federal afirmou em nota que a transferência já foi realizada. O banqueiro está preso preventivamente desde 4 de março, após a realização da 3ª fase da Operação Compliance Zero.
Segundo a jornalista Andrea Sadi, além de autorizar a transferência, Mendonça analisou uma petição da defesa de Vorcaro informando a intenção de colaboração, o que resultou em um termo de confidencialidade firmado com a Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR) e com a Polícia Federal (PF). Este seria o primeiro passo para uma eventual delação premiada.
A defesa do banqueiro solicitou ainda que Vorcaro passasse para prisão domiciliar, mas o ministro negou o pedido.
Troca de advogados de Vorcaro
Toda a movimentação ocorre dois dias após o novo advogado de Daniel Vorcaro, José Luís de Oliveira Lima, o Juca, ter visitado André Mendonça em seu gabinete, já indicando a possibilidade do dono do Banco Master firmar um acordo de delação.
Juca substituiu os advogados Pierpaolo Bottini e Roberto Podval na defesa do banqueiro na última sexta-feira (13), após a Segunda Turma do STF ter alcançado maioria para mantê-lo preso.
