A Polícia Civil do Amazonas (PC-AM), por meio do 28º Distrito Integrado de Polícia (DIP), em ação integrada com a 28ª Companhia Interativa Comunitária (Cicom) da Polícia Militar do Amazonas (PMAM), cumpriu, nesta quinta-feira (19/03), mandado de prisão preventiva contra um homem, de 24 anos, por estupro de vulnerável praticado contra a sobrinha, de 9 anos, em Careiro da Várzea (a 88 quilômetros de Manaus). A vítima sofreu abusos entre 2017 e 2024.
De acordo com o delegado Frank de Freitas, as investigações acerca do crime foram iniciadas na época e constatou-se que a vítima vinha sendo submetida a abusos sexuais. Naquele momento, foram presos preventivamente outros dois envolvidos, sendo pai e o avô.
"Após o recebimento de denúncia anônima, identificamos que ele estava escondido em uma casa na rua Rio Negro, comunidade Samaúma, bairro Colônia Antônio Aleixo, zona leste da capital", relatou o delegado.
Segundo a autoridade policial, as equipes realizaram diligências no local para verificar as informações e foi possível efetuar a prisão dele.
O homem responderá por estupro de vulnerável, passará por audiência de custódia e ficará à disposição do Poder Judiciário.
