Segundo ele, um conflito não deve ser interrompido quando um dos lados está "literalmente aniquilando o outro".
"Podemos dialogar, mas não quero um cessar-fogo. Não se faz um cessar-fogo quando se está literalmente aniquilando o outro lado. Não é isso que queremos", declarou.
