Supremo solicita novo parecer da PGR sobre caso das joias sauditas
Na última quarta-feira, 18, Moraes solicitou que a PGR se manifeste sobre as acusações da Polícia Federal (PF) contra o advogado Frederick Wassef.

Em agosto de 2023, a PF cumpriu quatro mandados de busca e apreensão em endereços ligados a Wassef, e a outros suspeitos, como parte da investigação sobre a suposta venda ilegal de itens de luxo recebidos pelo ex-presidente durante o mandato.

A PF, no começo de março, encaminhou ao STF uma análise complementar de dados obtidos a partir dos celulares apreendidos com Wassef. A Polícia Federal afirmou que o material aponta "eventos fortuitos" que devem ser apurados em procedimento separado.Moraes, ao encaminhar novamente os autos à Procuradoria-Geral da República, destacou que "não houve manifestação ministerial quanto ao citado material encaminhado pela Polícia Federal".
Investigações sobre joias sauditas
A PF apura um suposto esquema de enriquecimento ilícito envolvendo a venda irregular de joias e bens de luxo da União, que teriam sido supostamente desviados para beneficiar o patrimônio privado do ex-presidente.
Em 5 de março, Paulo Gonet solicitou o arquivamento da investigação sobre joias recebidas por Jair Bolsonaro, ao argumentar que a legislação não define com clareza se presentes recebidos no exercício do cargo pertencem ao presidente ou à União.
