Um micro-ônibus pegou fogo durante a subida da Serra das Russas, no Agreste de Pernambuco, na manhã deste sábado (21). O veículo ficou completamente destruído, mas nenhum dos 21 ocupantes ficou ferido.
Segundo a Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF), que foi acionada por volta das 11h35, o motorista do veículo seguia viagem pela BR-232 no sentido Gravatá, no Agreste, quando avistou fumaça saindo do micro-ônibus.
O condutor parou no acostamento e desembarcou junto com 20 passageiros, antes das chamas tomarem o veículo.
O Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Pernambuco (CBMPE) esteve no local e informou, por meio de nota, que quatro viaturas foram enviadas para o atendimento.
"Ao chegar ao local, as equipes realizaram o combate direto às chamas, conseguindo extinguir o incêndio", destacou a corporação.
