Colonos israelenses incendiaram neste sábado (21/03) casas, veículos e estruturas públicas na Cisjordânia ocupada, de acordo com a agência de notícias palestina Wafa. Segundo as informações do veículo, os colonos invadiram a vila de Fandaqumiya e a cidade de Seilat al-Dahr, ao sul de Jenin, no fim do dia, ferindo pelo menos um cidadão.
Imagens registradas que circulam nas redes sociais mostram um grupo de israelenses em Fandaqumiya provocando confrontos com moradores palestinos, estes que tentam apagar as chamas em suas casas. Por lá, a agência Wafa informou que, além de incêndio, os invasores danificaram e quebraram janelas de residências. Já em Seilat al-Dahr, os colonos repetiram as mesmas agressões e entraram em confronto com moradores locais.
No mesmo dia, ataques parecidos foram relatados na estrada principal perto de Haris, a oeste de Salfit, onde colonos apedrejaram veículos palestinos. A violência foi replicada também na estrada que liga Ramallah a Nablus, na cidade de Tuqu', sudeste de Belém, assim como perto do posto militar de Za'tara.
De acordo com a Wafa, houve também um ataque a Masafer Yatta, ao sul de Hebron, onde colonos feriram dois palestinos. Outros três foram presos enquanto colonos invadiam a área sob proteção das forças israelenses.
Junto com os incêndios e ataques físicos, foram relatados casos de violência sexual contra homens, mulheres e menores palestinos, atribuídos a colonos que agiam sob discurso de ódio.
Segundo dados das Nações Unidas (ONU), pelo menos 1.094 palestinos foram mortos por tropas e colonos israelenses na Cisjordânia ocupada desde o início do genocídio na Faixa de Gaza, em outubro de 2023. Grupos de direitos humanos denunciam que as autoridades israelenses permitem que os colonos ajam com total impunidade. A organização israelense B'Tselem também acusou o regime sionista de fomentar a violência "como parte de uma estratégia para consolidar a tomada de terras palestinas".
