Influenza: mais de 2500 doses de vacina são aplicadas em shopping
A campanha de vacinação contra influenza, iniciada na última sexta-feira, 20, levou a população aos postos neste domingo, 22. Quem decidiu se vacinar no Shopping Iguatemi, no bairro Edson Queiroz, enfrentou filas grandes. O local é o único fora dos 15 postos da Prefeitura de Fortaleza.
Conforme O POVO apurou, foram aplicadas 2773 doses do imunizante entre o sábado e o domingo, 21 e 22 de março, respectivamente.
A imunização no shopping iniciou às 11 horas e ultrapassou o tempo previsto que era até as 16 horas, na Praça Rendeira, seguindo até as 17 horas, para quem já estava aguardando. Quem chegou ao local após o horário de encerramento, não pôde se vacinar.
O local recebeu cadeiras e pontos de imunização para atender o público. Nas fotos captadas pelo O POVO é possível ver filas e muita gente aguardando em pé, devido a quantidade de pessoas.
A prioridade nesta primeira fase da campanha inclui idosos, crianças menores de seis anos, trabalhadores da saúde, pessoas com comorbidades e a população privada de liberdade.
Vacinação segue até o mês de maio em Fortaleza
Anteriormente prevista para começar em 28 de março, a campanha de vacinação contra influenza 2026 foi adiantada em uma semana devido ao aumento de casos desde o início do mês de fevereiro.
A previsão é que o grupo prioritário possa se vacinar, dentro da campanha, até o dia 30 de maio. Em seguida, a vacinação deve incluir a população geral, que não se enquadra na prioridade.
Além dos postos de saúde, as unidades do Vapt Vupt no Papicu, Messejana e Antônio Bezerra são pontos de vacinação, com atendimento de segunda-feira a sexta-feira, das 8h às 17 horas.
