Um assessor do deputado federal Vinicius Carvalho (PL-SP) está entre os quatro presos em flagrante pela Polícia Federal (PF), após um saque de R$ 2,733 milhões em espécie no Recife. O caso aconteceu na sexta (20). Além de ter sido detido, Fernando José Palma Sampaio também foi exonerado do cargo que ocupava no gabinete do parlamentar.
O deputado federal Vinicius Carvalho (PL-SP) se pronunciou por meio de uma nota do advogado que o representa, Antônio Belarmino Júnior, enviada ao Metrópoles.
"Conforme consta do próprio termo de declarações prestado pelo assessor, restou expressamente consignado que o parlamentar não tinha conhecimento dos deslocamentos, tampouco de quaisquer condutas investigadas, inexistindo qualquer relação entre o deputado e os eventos sob apuração. No mesmo sentido, a manifestação do Ministério Público Federal reconhece que, não há elementos que indiquem envolvimento do parlamentar", diz o texto publicado pelo portal.
Segundo o painel da transparência da Câmara dos Deputados, Fernando José Palma Sampaio ocupava o cargo de Secretário Parlamentar no Gabinete de Vinícius Carvalho e recebia uma remuneração líquida de R$ 9.306,76 por mês, além de um bônus mensal no valor de R$ 1.784,42.
