Segundo testemunhas, a guarnição policial foi acionada para atender a ocorrência de desordem e, ao chegar ao local, encontrou várias mulheres em confronto físico. Durante a confusão, uma das envolvidas estava com uma faca, enquanto outra utilizava o gargalo de uma garrafa de cerveja.
Durante a intervenção, uma das vítimas se aproximou dos policiais já ferida e se sentou ao lado da equipe. As demais continuaram a briga e precisaram ser contidas pelos agentes.
O Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) foi acionado para prestar socorro às vítimas, que foram encaminhadas a uma unidade hospitalar.
