Um transporte irregular com carga de açaí sem a devida documentação interestadual foi identificada durante fiscalização na madrugada deste domingo (22), por policiais da Base Integrada Fluvial Candiru, no município de Óbidos, oeste paraense. A ação foi coordenada pela Secretaria de Estado de Segurança Pública e Defesa Social (Segup), por meio da Base Fluvial, que atua no monitoramento das rotas hidroviárias na região.
As equipes abordaram as embarcações Genésio e Marios Barros, que navegavam em velocidade reduzida, oriundas do município de Codajás, no Estado do Amazonas, com destino a Abaetetuba, no Pará. Na verificação da carga, foi constatado o transporte de aproximadamente 52 toneladas de açaí, sendo quase 2 mil quilos do fruto processado e 50 mil quilos in natura.
Os policiais acionaram a Agência de Defesa Agropecuária do Estado do Pará (Adepará), responsável pela fiscalização sanitária e controle do trânsito de produtos de origem vegetal. O órgão constatou a ausência da documentação obrigatória para o transporte interestadual da carga.

Segundo o secretário de Estado de Segurança Pública e Defesa Social, coronel PM Ed-Lin Anselmo, a atuação integrada nas bases fluviais é fundamental para garantir o controle das rotas e a regularidade do transporte de cargas no Estado. "As bases fluviais atuam de forma estratégica não apenas no combate a crimes, mas também no apoio aos órgãos de fiscalização, garantindo que o transporte de cargas ocorra dentro da legalidade e com segurança sanitária", informou.
A Base Integrada Fluvial Candiru prossegue as ações de fiscalização nas rotas hidroviárias do oeste paraense, reforçando a presença do Estado e contribuindo para a regularização das atividades comerciais na região.
