O Irã atacou Tel Aviv com mísseis na madrugada desta terça-feira (24/3), apenas um dia após o presidente dos Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, declarar que as negociações de paz com o país haviam sido "boas e construtivas".
Seis pessoas ficaram feridas, segundo a agência de notícias Magen David Adom.
Segundo o exército israelense, o Irã lançou múltiplas ondas de mísseis contra Israel. Equipes de busca e resgate foram enviadas para o centro de Israel, onde "foram recebidos relatos de impactos", segundo as Forças de Defesa de Israel (IDF).
Diversos alertas de lançamento de mísseis do Irã em direção a Israel foram emitidos durante a noite. Uma das munições que atingiu o centro de Tel Aviv teria cerca de 100 quilos de explosivos, segundo o Times of Israel.
Negociações
Donald Trump disse que as negociações para o fim da guerra avançaram. "Tenho o prazer de informar que os Estados Unidos da América e o Irã tiveram, nos últimos dois dias, conversas muito boas e produtivas a respeito de uma resolução completa e total de nossas hostilidades no Oriente Médio", escreveu na rede social Truth Social.
Logo depois, no entanto, o Irã negou que esteja negociando com os Estados Unidos.
"Não há negociações em curso, nem haverá. Esse tipo de guerra psicológica não restaurará o Estreito de Ormuz ao seu estado pré-guerra, nem a calma retornará aos mercados de energia. O prazo de cinco dias estabelecido por Trump significa a continuação do programa deste regime de cometer crimes contra o povo, e nós continuaremos nossa ampla resposta e defesa do país", informou a agência de notícias iraniana ligada à Guarda Revolucionária.
