Uma escola pública foi alvo de invasão durante a madrugada do último domingo (22), na cidade de Itabuna, no sul do estado. Parte da alimentação escolar, caixas de som e um aparelho de televisão foram furtados na ocasião. A polícia investiga o caso. Ninguém foi preso até o momento.
De acordo com a prefeitura, o alvo da ação criminosa foi a Escola Municipal São Paulo da Cruz, localizada na região conhecida popularmente como Alto da Lua, no bairro Mangabinha. O imóvel foi arrombado e invadido pelos criminosos.

Segundo a gestão municipal, a unidade atende cerca de 60 estudantes, de quatro e cinco anos, matriculados em período integral. As atividades escolares ocorreram normalmente nesta segunda-feira (23).
Ainda no domingo, uma equipe do Departamento de Polícia Técnica (DPT) de Itabuna esteve no local para realizar a perícia. A Delegacia de Repressão a Furtos e Roubos (DRFR/Itabuna) segue com as investigações para esclarecer as circunstâncias do crime e identificar os envolvidos.
