Ministro do STF atendeu pedido da defesa do ex-presidente, que alega piora na saúde em meio a quadro de pneumonia bacteriana
O ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), concedeu nesta terça-feira (24/03) prisão domiciliar ao ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro.
Moraes atendeu ao pedido feito pela defesa do ex-presidente. Segundo os advogados, Bolsonaro não tem condições de voltar para a prisão devido ao agravamento de seus problemas de saúde.
A domiciliar passará a ser cumprida após Bolsonaro receber alta do Hospital DF Star, em Brasília, onde recupera de um quadro de pneumonia bacteriana desde o dia 13.
Conforme a decisão de Moraes, a domiciliar terá prazo inicial de 90 dias. Após o prazo, a manutenção do benefício deverá ser reanalisado pelo ministro, que poderá solicitar nova perícia médica.
Moraes também determinou que Bolsonaro voltará a ser monitorado por tornozeleira eletrônica. Em novembro do ano passado, antes de ser condenado pela trama golpista, o ex-presidente foi preso após tentar violar o equipamento.
Pela decisão de Moraes, agentes da Polícia Militar deverão fazer a segurança da casa de Bolsonaro para evitar fuga.
Bolsonaro foi condenado a 27 anos e 3 meses de prisão na ação penal da trama golpista e cumpria pena no 19° Batalhão da Polícia Militar, no Complexo Penitenciário da Papuda, em Brasília.
