ERRATA
Esse erro decorre da interpretação do parágrafo de um documento público, um ofício enviado em 07 de fevereiro de 2025 pela Loterj à RioPag S/A, que cita o contrato nº003/2023 (firmado entre RioPag S/A e Loterj); uma "inadimplência do operador contratado" — que, em fevereiro de 2025, era a RioPag; e afirma que "esse prejuízo" justificaria o "aprimoramento da gestão e segurança dos recursos financeiros":
Depois da publicação da reportagem, foi veiculada versão da Loterj onde consta que o referido prejuízo decorreu de um outro contrato, envolvendo outra empresa, a MCE Intermediações e Negócios Ltda. Diz um trecho:
"o caso é anterior ao contrato da empresa de meio de pagamento e refere-se ao abandono do contrato de operação da loteria de Múltiplas Chances (Rio de Prêmios) pela MCE Intermediações e Negócios Ltda/Santa Casa Global Brasil Participações Ltda. A Loterj tomou todas as providências administrativas e judiciais para ser ressarcida do prejuízo."
