Defesa Civil paulista remove balão que caiu em casa em Carapicuíba
A Defesa Civil do Estado de São Paulo informou ter acompanhado a retirada de um balão que caiu na manhã deste sábado sobre uma casa na cidade de Carapicuíba, na região metropolitana.
A queda atingiu também a fiação elétrica próxima do imóvel, na Rua Ovídia Colão, e provocou um curto-circuito com início de incêndio.
"A Defesa Civil orienta a população a não soltar balões e a denunciar a prática, reforçando que a prevenção é fundamental para evitar tragédias", alertou o órgão, em nota.
As chamas foram rapidamente controladas e extintas pelo Corpo de Bombeiros. Não houve vítimas e o local já foi vistoriado e liberado pela Defesa Civil do município, Polícia Ambiental e concessionária de energia.
"Esse tipo de ocorrência mostra que o risco não começa quando a estiagem se instala - ele já está presente. A soltura de balões, além de crime, pode provocar incêndios de grandes proporções e colocar vidas em risco", alertou o Coordenador Estadual de Proteção e Defesa Civil, Coronel PM Rinaldo de Araujo Monteiro.
As chuvas irregulares no começo deste ano, influenciadas pelo fenômeno La Niña, impactaram na reposição dos reservatórios da região e podem levar a uma queda na resiliência ao fogo, com maior número e intensidade de focos de queimada.
A Defesa Civil estadual inicia, na próxima quarta-feira (1º), os treinamentos da Operação SP Sem Fogo, para capacitar agentes municipais na atuação durante a temporada de seca.
