O pai da estudante chegou a procurar a polícia no ano passado, mas as agressões persistiram. Os ataques consistem em socos e xingamentos racistas, como "macaca". Ele relatou ainda que, em um episódio recente, jogaram leite quente no rosto dela.
O palco das agressões é a escola estadual Joaquim Izidoro Marins, na Vila Angélica, em Sorocaba.
Seduc repudiou ataques racistas
Ao Metrópoles, a Seduc confirmou o teor das denúncias e informou que acolheu a vítima e seus responsáveis e ofereceu apoio psicológico. A pasta também afirma ter intensificado ações de prevenção e enfrentamento ao racismo na escola, alvo de denúncias de negligência por parte do pai da estudante.
"A Secretaria da Educação repudia toda e qualquer forma de discriminação. A direção da escola e a Unidade Regional de Ensino de Sorocaba reafirmam seu compromisso com políticas públicas antirracistas e permanecem à disposição da comunidade para mais esclarecimentos", diz trecho da nota.
