Justiça mantém prisão de motorista bêbado que atropelou e matou 2 crianças
Imagens de câmera de segurança mostram o momento em que duas crianças foram atingidas por um veículo em alta velocidade enquanto brincavam em frente a uma residência em Diadema nesta sexta-feira (3).
É possível ver no vídeo as duas crianças brincando na calçada, na frente de um portão, quando um carro branco desce a rua em alta velocidade e elas são atingidas. Após o impacto, o veículo ainda colidiu contra o muro da residência.
O autor apresentava sinais de embriaguez, que foi confirmada por exame, segundo a Secretaria de Segurança Pública de São Paulo (SSP-SP).
Ele foi encaminhado ao 3° Distrito Policial da cidade, onde o caso foi registrado como homicídio e lesão corporal culposa na direção de veículo automotor.
As vítimas foram identificadas como Isaias de Oliveira Santos, de 5 anos, e Sophya de Oliveira Santos, de 10 anos. Outras duas crianças também foram atingidas e foram socorridas para hospitais da região.
O condutor afirmou em depoimento que havia ingerido bebida alcoólica e alegou que se confundiu com os pedais, além de dizer que o acelerador do carro teria travado.
