Segundo a Polícia Militar, o Porsche Boxster trafegava, em alta velocidade, pela avenida Conde de Frontin, um dos trechos da Radial Leste, no sentido centro-bairro.
No momento do acidente, segundo apurou o G1, o motorista, identificado como João Henrique Alves Quintana, 27, teria invadido a contramão da via e colidido frontalmente com um Fiat Siena, que transportava duas pessoas. O acidente ocorreu por volta das 2h40.
O motorista do Fiat Siena foi socorrido no Hospital das Clínicas e o seu passageiro no Pronto-Socorro de Ermelino Matarazzo. Os dois ocupantes do Porsche foram socorridos no Pronto-Socorro do Tatuapé. Nenhum dos dois motoristas tinha carteira de habilitação, segundo a PM.
O motorista do Porshche foi submetido ao teste do bafômetro, em que foi constatado o teor de 0,40 mg/L de álcool por litro de ar. De acordo com o Conselho Nacional de Trânsito, concentrações acima de 0,34 mg/L já configuram crime de trânsito.
Na tarde deste sábado, o motorista do Porsche permanecia sob escolta da PM no Pronto-Socorro do Tatuapé, enquanto o condutor do Siena permanece internado no Hospital das Clínicas. Não há informações sobre o estado de saúde deles. Os passageiros dos dois veículos foram medicados e liberados.
