Num comunicado do Quartel-General Central Khatam al-Anbiya, o general Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi qualificou o ultimato de Trump como uma "ação impotente, nervosa, desequilibrada e estúpida".
E, em alusão à mensagem publicada mais cedo por Trump em sua plataforma, Truth Social, na qual anunciou o Irã que desatará "o inferno" se não reabrir o estreito em 48 horas, o general alertou que "o significado simples desta mensagem é que as portas do inferno se abrirão para vocês".

"Lembrem de quando dei ao Irã dez dias para FECHAR UM ACORDO OU ABRIR O ESTREITO DE ORMUZ", escreveu Trump em sua plataforma, Truth Social, em alusão ao ultimato feito em 26 de março.
"O tempo está acabando: 48 horas antes de todo o inferno desate sobre eles", disse o presidente, acrescentando: "Glória a DEUS!".
Horas depois, o Irã anunciou que os navios do Iraque, um "país irmão", podem navegar pelo Estreito e que as restrições se aplicam apenas aos "inimigos".
