Duas meninas morreram neste sábado em bombardeios israelenses no sul do Líbano, anunciou o Ministério da Saúde libanês, enquanto Israel relatou a morte de um soldado na região.
As meninas morreram no povoado de Habush, próximo da principal cidade do sul do Líbano, em bombardeios que também deixaram 22 feridos, segundo o ministério.
O Exército israelense anunciou a morte de um soldado de 21 anos no sul libanês, onde lançou uma invasão terrestre para neutralizar o movimento pró-Irã Hezbollah.
Na costa libanesa, a cidade de Tiro e seus arredores foram alvo de ataques aéreos durante o dia. Um deles danificou um dos principais hospitais da cidade, informou o ministério.
Após receberem de Israel ordens de evacuação, dezenas de milhares de moradores de Tiro seguiram para a estrada em busca de abrigo, mas ainda restavam cerca de 20 mil pessoas na cidade, das quais 15 mil são deslocados de outras cidades.
Também em Tiro, dois bombardeios destruíram dois prédios perto de um hospital. Ruas ficaram cobertas de escombros e um veículo foi carbonizado. Esses ataques deixaram 18 feridos, segundo um balanço do ministério.
O Hezbollah reivindicou a autoria de ataques a cidades fronteiriças no norte de Israel e a posições israelenses no Líbano.
Em 24 horas, forças israelenses destruíram 17 câmeras de vigilância vinculadas ao principal quartel-general dos capacetes azuis da ONU no sul do Líbano, informou neste sábado à AFP um encarregado de segurança das Nações Unidas.
Desde o início da guerra entre Israel e o Hezbollah, em 2 de março, a Força Interina da ONU no Líbano (Unifil) está presa no fogo cruzado no sul do país.
