Um homem foi preso na última sexta-feira (3), em Igarapé-Açu, no nordeste do Pará, suspeito de agredir a companheira e mantê-la em cárcere privado dentro da residência onde ela morava. O caso ocorreu na travessa Antônio Alves, no bairro Centro.
De acordo com a Polícia Militar, a guarnição foi acionada para atender a uma ocorrência de violência doméstica e, ao chegar ao local, ouviu gritos de socorro vindos do interior do imóvel. A vítima estava trancada com um cadeado no portão, Os militares precisaram utilizar um alicate de pressão para cortar e resgatá-la.
Segundo relato da mulher, ele teria desferido socos na região do rosto, cabeça e costelas, além de mordidas no peito. A violência aconteceu, segundo relatos da vítima à polícia, motivado por ciúmes do ex-companheiro dela.
