Pepita denunciou em seus stories ter sido expulsa de um carro de aplicativo, nesta sexta-feira, 13, por um motorista transfóbico. Enquanto acompanhava os desfiles da madrugada deste sábado, 14, no Sambódromo do Anhembi, em São Paulo, ela revelou ao Terra que ficou assustada com a situação.
"Sempre falo que a transfobia sempre vai ser minha vizinha, mas me assustou, porque a pessoa me tirou da minha casa e me largou num lugar que eu não conhecia. Fica de alerta pra você que acha que esse negócio é 'mimimi'. Se você não tem essa vivência, não tem essa dor, não se meta."
A famosa, que pede respeito pela comunidade, diz que a plataforma já a procurou para esclareceu o ocorrido. "Não sei como vai ficar a situação do profissional, eu acho que sim tem que tomar [alguma punição], porque como foi comigo, outras pessoas também podem ter passado por isso, mas não tem voz", afirma.
Única rainha de bateria trans de São Paulo, ela desfilou pela União de São Lucas no último final de semana no Anhembi e declarou que a experiência foi maravilhosa. "Eu estou muito feliz".
Quando questionada se tem alguma escola favorita para ser campeã, Pepita afirma torcer para todos. "Quem gosta de carnaval, torce por todo mundo. É um ano de muita luta, de muita revolução para fazer e trazer um desfile para a avenida. É um trabalho de esforço e eu acho que todas são merecedoras."
