Diretor da PF esteve em evento com Toffoli patrocinado pelo Master
Um dos argumentos da Polícia Federal para a suspeição contra o ministro Dias Toffoli foi a participação do ministro no evento 10º Fórum Jurídico – Brasil de Ideias, realizado de 24 a 26 de abril de 2024, em Londres, e patrocinado pelo Banco Master, de Daniel Vorcaro. Mas o diretor-geral da PF, Andrei Rodrigues, também participou do mesmo evento, junto com outras autoridades, incluindo Alexandre de Moraes.
Segundo a apuração do site Poder360, a participação de Toffoli no evento financiado por Vorcaro – investigado pela PF como líder de um esquema de fraude no sistema financeiro – foi um dos eixos de arguição de suspeição contra Toffoli. Para a PF, a participação do ministro do STF no evento indicaria uma possível relação de proximidade entre Toffoli e Vorcaro.
O relatório da PF entregue ao STF não foi divulgado, mas teria quatro pontos principais contra Toffoli. A primeira questão seria o envolvimento de Toffoli com o resort Tayayá. A PF também apontou a existência de troca de mensagens de texto em que o ministro aparece como um possível aliado de Vorcaro numa causa no Supremo. Mas, ao final do processo, Toffoli votou contra o pedido do banqueiro do Master.
Por fim, a PF menciona a existência de uma possível intimidade entre Toffoli e Vorcaro pelo fato de o ministro ter participado de eventos patrocinados pelo Banco Master. Mas o documento da PF não menciona que outras autoridades dos Três Poderes participaram do mesmo evento, incluindo o próprio diretor-geral da PF, Andrei Rodrigues, e outro ministro do STF, Alexandre de Moraes.
