Prefeitura de Paracuru restringe entrada de crianças no Carnaval e gera reclamações de pais
A Prefeitura de Paracuru anunciou novas regras para o acesso de menores de idade à Arena do Paracuru Folia 2026, principal espaço dos shows carnavalescos no município. As restrições começaram a valer neste sábado, 14, e foram divulgadas nas redes sociais oficiais da gestão municipal.
De acordo com nota publicada pela prefeitura, as medidas atendem a determinação do Poder Judiciário e seguem orientações do Ministério Público do Ceará, além das normas previstas no Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA).
Pelas regras, menores de 12 anos estão proibidos de acessar a arena em qualquer circunstância. Adolescentes entre 12 e 16 anos só podem entrar acompanhados dos pais ou responsáveis legais. Já jovens de 16 a 18 anos precisam apresentar documento oficial com foto.
Segundo a prefeitura, as medidas visam "garantir a segurança e o bem-estar de crianças e adolescentes durante a realização do evento" e já estão em vigor.
Pais relatam confusão na entrada da arena
A decisão, no entanto, gerou insatisfação entre pais e familiares que tentaram entrar no espaço com crianças. Nas redes sociais, relatos apontam falta de organização e de divulgação prévia das restrições.
O visitante Luiz Fernando Veleda afirmou que enfrentou desencontro de informações na entrada da arena durante o show do cantor Luan Santana.
Segundo ele, inicialmente a entrada foi negada, mesmo acompanhando o filho. Em seguida, um responsável teria informado que o acesso seria permitido, mas, já no espaço, a família foi orientada a se retirar.
"Muita desorganização. Viemos de outro estado para curtir o Carnaval aqui em Paracuru e muitas crianças não conseguiram realizar o sonho de ver o Luan Santana", relatou nas redes sociais.
Outros comentários também mencionaram frustração pela ausência de aviso com antecedência, o que teria impedido famílias de se programarem para o evento.
Prefeitura reafirma cumprimento de determinação judicial
Procurada pelo O POVO, a Prefeitura de Paracuru informou, por meio de nota, que as restrições cumprem determinação do Poder Judiciário e seguem as normas de proteção previstas no ECA.
A gestão reforçou que as regras visam assegurar a integridade de crianças e adolescentes durante a programação carnavalesca.
