André Rodrigues, carnavalesco que assina o desfile, assume carreira solo neste ano após a saída de Antônio Gonzaga, com quem dividiu o comando artístico em 2024 e 2025. Segundo André, a agremiação precisou mergulhar na história da religião de matriz africana para levá-la à Passarela do Samba. "A gente conheceu um principado, um reinado negro no Rio Grande do Sul. Um lugar onde a gente pouco imagina a contribuição da população nele. É um pouco diferente. Eu acho que esse diferente inspira e desperta curiosidade", conta à coluna GENTE.
O samba-enredo é assinado pela parceria de Valtinho Botafogo, Raphael Gravino, Gabriel Simões, Braga, Cacau Oliveira, Miguel Cunha e Dona Madalena. "É mistério que incandeia/ Pro batuque incorporar/ É mistério que incandeia/ Pra portela incorporar/ Vai, negrinho… vai fazer libertação/ Resgatar a tradição", diz um trecho da música interpretada por Zé Paulo Sierra, substituto de Gilsinho, que morreu em setembro de 2025. Há nove anos à frente da bateria, Bianca Monteiro volta para mais um Carnaval com a escola de Madureira.
