No Centro, também faltou espaço e sobrou alegria na comemoração dos dez anos do Beiço do Wando. Na avenida sonorizada dos Andradas, o "jardineiro dos girassóis" aliviou o calor das pessoas que seguiram a homenagem ao cantor Lô Borges.
Marcaram presença na folia as tradições e a ancestralidade negras no Angola Janga, na avenida Amazonas, bem como cor e espiritualidade no desfile do Pena de Pavão de Krishna, no Bairro União. E a passagem do Todo Mundo Cabe no Mundo pelas ruas do bairro Funcionários provou que Carnaval é lugar de criança. No bairro de Lourdes, o Bloco da Anistia uniu política e folia em verde e amarelo.
Para a segunda-feira, a previsão é de que a animação continue, mas o calorão - que chegou a passar de 30°C no sábado - deve dar lugar a pancadas de chuva à tarde.

Em 23 dias de folia, Belo Horizonte deve receber cerca de 6,5 milhões de pessoas durante o Carnaval. A programação de 2026 prevê mais de 600 desfiles, reunindo blocos tradicionais que marcaram a retomada e a consolidação da festa na capital, além de atrações e artistas de renome nacional, reforçando a diversidade musical e cultural do evento. O Carnaval deve gerar impacto econômico estimado em R$ 1 bilhão para a cidade e criar mais de 20 mil postos de trabalho diretos e indiretos.
