Intervenção policial deixa quatro mortos em Barreira
Uma intervenção policial realizada por forças de segurança do Ceará resultou na morte de quatro homens no município de Barreira, no Maciço de Baturité. O caso foi registrado neste domingo, 15. O confronto aconteceu durante uma operação de combate ao crime organizado na região.
Equipes do Batalhão Especializado de Policiamento do Interior (Bepi) e da Força Tática da Polícia Militar do Ceará (PMCE) participaram da ação. De acordo com informações preliminares, as composições foram recebidas a tiros ao tentarem realizar uma abordagem a um grupo armado.
Houve confronto e, no revide, quatro suspeitos foram atingidos. Eles não resistiram aos ferimentos e morreram. Nenhum policial ficou ferido durante a troca de tiros. No local, foram apreendidas diversas armas de fogo e uma grande quantidade de munição.

O secretário da Casa Civil do Governo do Ceará, Chagas Vieira, utilizou as redes sociais para confirmar o saldo da operação e enaltecer a atuação das tropas.
"Acabo de ser informado pelo nosso Secretário da Segurança que, numa intervenção policial em Barreira, quatro oponentes foram mortos. Muitas armas e munição apreendidas. Nenhum dos nossos policiais do Bepi e da Força Tática envolvidos na operação ficou ferido", escreveu o gestor.
A Polícia Militar mantém o policiamento reforçado na área para garantir a segurança da população local. O material apreendido foi encaminhado para a delegacia da região para os procedimentos cabíveis.
