Antes da saída do bloco, uma chuva forte caiu no município, mas, para alegria dos participantes, ela parou pouco antes da passagem do trio elétrico pelas principais vias. De acordo com o secretário de Cultura e Esporte de Torres, Blando Ferreira, 100 mil pessoas passaram pelos festejos de Torres durante os quatro dias.

"Acredito até que o público tenha sido melhor do que o do ano passado", comentou ele. "É um Carnaval bem ordeiro, bem de família, sem brigas e com toda a estrutura de segurança, com apoio da Brigada Militar (BM), Polícia Civil e Guarda Municipal", acrescentou. Mas, neste ano, há duas diferenças.
A primeira é o fechamento temporário da ponte pênsil que liga Torres ao município de Passo de Torres, em Santa Catarina, após um acordo firmado entre as cidades com o Ministério Público do RS (MPRS), como parte das ações após a morte do jovem Brian Grandi, justamente no Carnaval de 2023. Também há outra recomendação do MPRS para que as noites de festa encerrem às 2h. "Após, equipes da Secretaria de Obras já passam limpando os resíduos da orla", comentou Ferreira.
