Bebê nasce em base de apoio da BR 101 em Ibiraçu

O feriado de carnaval trouxe um momento emocionante para uma família de Aracruz, no Norte do Espírito Santo. Na madrugada desta terça-feira (17), o pequeno Benedito veio ao mundo em uma base de atendimento da Ecovias Capixaba, concessionária que administra o trecho da BR 101, em Ibiraçu, após a mãe entrar em trabalho de parto durante o trajeto para a maternidade.
Maria Luísa Figueiredo estava com 34 semanas de gestação quando as contrações começaram, por volta das 2h. Ela e o marido, Hector Cometti Cavallieri, saíram da zona rural do município com destino a uma maternidade na Serra. No entanto, no meio do caminho, o casal percebeu que o bebê não esperaria a chegada ao hospital.
De acordo com a Ecovias Capixaba, a família chegou à base às 05h41 e foi recebida pela técnica de enfermagem Patrícia da Penha Vieira Serrano Clemente. "O pai gritou que o bebê estava nascendo. Não houve tempo de colocar a mãe na ambulância. Eu deitei o banco do carro e posicionei a mãe. Em cinco minutos, o bebê nasceu", contou a técnica.
Segundo a Ecovias Capixaba, após o nascimento, a mãe e o filho foram levados pela ambulância da concessionária para o hospital. Mesmo prematuro, Benedito, nome que recebeu em homenagem ao avô, passa bem junto à mãe.
