Mendonça autoriza PF a periciar dispositivos em caso Master
O ministro André Mendonça, relator do caso Master no Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), autorizou nesta quinta-feira (19) diligências da Polícia Federal (PF), inclusive com autonomia para periciar os 100 dispositivos que, até o momento, foram recolhidos. A decisão do magistrado atende à PF, que reivindicava mais protagonismo nas apurações do escândalo financeiro do Banco Master após limitações impostas pelo antigo relator, Dias Toffoli.
A decisão acolhe a urgência apontada pelo Instituto Nacional de Criminalística e pela Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR) quanto à preservação de conteúdo probatório considerado "sensível". Foi autorizada também a realização de diligências ordinárias, como oitivas na sede da PF, desde que "observada a devida compartimentação das informações" e os "princípios da preservação" do sigilo e da funcionalidade.
