Avô de menino órfão após tragédia na BR-101 em Itajaí cobra justiça: "Pior dia da vida"

Roberto falou pela última vez com o filho Kayo, de 32 anos, às 7h48min da trágica quarta-feira. Um pouco mais tarde, quando o relógio marcava 9h05min, recebeu uma ligação do celular do neto. No outro lado da linha, a informação de que precisava ir para Itajaí com urgência em virtude de um grave acidente de trânsito. Naquele momento, já soube que apenas o garoto estava vivo.
Na tarde desta quinta-feira (19), o menino ainda estava na UTI do Hospital Pequeno Anjo. Além de fratura na clavícula, teve queimaduras no rosto, perna e mão. O avô conta que aguarda autorização médica para transferir o neto para um hospital de São Paulo. A expectativa é de que isso ocorra ainda nesta semana. Os corpos das vítimas também serão encaminhados para sepultamento em SP, onde viviam.
O empresário revela que chegou a pedir que não viajasse neste feriadão de Carnaval em virtude da previsão de temporal em Santa Catarina. Como já estava tudo planejado, a família decidiu pegar a estrada. Em uma parada no trajeto, chegaram a fazer fotos felizes com o passeio. O neto queria muito conhecer o Beto Carrero, em Penha. Antes do acidente, conseguiu.

Roberto procurou a polícia para saber sobre a investigação do acidente. Imagens mostram quando o carro está parado em uma fila na BR-101, em Itajaí, respeitando uma distância do veículo da frente. De repente, um caminhão surge e arrasta o carro com a família e mais uma kombi. Os veículos acabam prensados contra outro caminhão, que estava parado na fila.
De acordo com a Polícia Rodoviária Federal, o motorista fez o teste do bafômetro, deu resultado negativo para álcool e então ele foi liberado no local, sem ser levado à delegacia. A PRF informou na tarde desta quinta-feira (19) que o Laudo Pericial de Sinistro de Trânsito deve ser concluído no próximo domingo (22). "Em seguida, o laudo será revisado pelo Núcleo de Segurança Viária da PRF e, posteriormente, enviado à Polícia Civil de Itajaí, que vai abrir inquérito para apurar eventuais responsabilidades".
O tacógrafo, um equipamento dos caminhões que registra informações como velocidade, foi recolhido pela PRF e será enviado com o laudo para compor a investigação.
