PF atualiza Mendonça sobre investigação do caso Master
O ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) André Mendonça se reuniu, na tarde desta segunda-feira (23), com a equipe da Polícia Federal responsável pela investigação envolvendo o Banco Master. Os delegados atualizaram o relator sobre o andamento do caso.
Em nota, a Secretaria de Comunicação da Corte afirmou que foram apresentados aos delegados os processos que tramitam no Supremo relacionados à Operação Compliance Zero.
"Durante a audiência, a Polícia Federal apresentou um relato atualizado sobre o estágio das apurações. O encontro também serviu para apresentação à Polícia Federal da lista dos processos da Operação Compliance Zero e desdobramentos correlatos que tramitam na Corte sob a relatoria do ministro", disse o STF, em nota.
Essa foi a segunda reunião de Mendonça com a PF. Ele assumiu a relatoria do inquérito no último dia 12, após a saída do ministro Dias Toffoli. Na primeira audiência, o magistrado solicitou um balanço do que já havia sido feito pela autoridade policial e dos próximos passos na apuração.
No último dia 19, Mendonça determinou a retomada do "fluxo ordinário" de perícias e depoimentos do caso Master, revertendo uma decisão de Toffoli.
Inicialmente, Toffoli ordenou que todos os celulares e computadores apreendidos durante a segunda fase da operação Compliance Zero deveriam ser lacrados e armazenados na sede do STF.
A PF e a Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR) recorreram. Diante das críticas, o então relator recuou e mandou o material para a PGR, autorizando apenas quatro peritos da Polícia Federal a acompanharem a extração dos danos.
