A Polícia Federal (PF) apreendeu cerca de 11 kg de maconha no Aeroporto Internacional Eduardo Gomes, em Manaus, nesta sexta-feira. A droga estava escondida em tabletes grandes dentro de uma bagagem despachada, sendo identificada durante uma inspeção de raio-X.
De acordo com a Polícia Federal, a droga estava tabletes grandes e foi identificada após o sistema de inspeção por raio-X apontar a presença de material orgânico suspeito, sendo levada para a sala de inspeção do Aeroporto.
A Polícia Federal informou que após a abertura e a realização de teste preliminar, confirmou-se tratar de substância entorpecente com características compatíveis com maconha. Apesar disso, a PF da comarca do Amazonas não confirmou se o proprietário da mala foi detido.
A Polícia Federal instaurou inquérito policial para apurar as circunstâncias do fato e identificar os responsáveis pelo crime de tráfico de drogas.
