MP-SP libera mais eventos por ano na Avenida Paulista e abre caminho para megashows
Desde 2007, a avenida podia receber apenas até três eventos por ano: a corrida de São Silvestre, o show de Réveillon e a Parada do Orgulho LGBT
O Ministério Público do Estado de São Paulo permitiu nesta terça-feira, 24, a realização de megashows gratuitos de artistas internacionais na avenida Paulista, desejo da prefeitura já para o segundo semestre de 2026.
Desde 2007, a avenida, que é um dos principais cartões postais da cidade de São Paulo, podia receber apenas até três eventos por ano: a corrida de São Silvestre, o show de Réveillon e a Parada do Orgulho LGBT. Com a mudança, o local poderá sediar até quatro eventos por ano.
A prefeitura argumentou que, como a São Silvestre e o show de Réveillon acontecem no mesmo dia, deveriam contar como apenas um evento. O MP acatou esse argumento, mas exigiu uma mudança gradual: apenas um megashow poderá ser realizado em 2026 e, a partir de 2027, poderão ser dois, um em cada semestre.
Outras condições foram impostas pelo MP como forma de garantir a segurança durante os eventos: os shows deverão ocorrer apenas em sábados, domingos ou feriados; deverá ser implementado um controle de pedestres nas vias transversais, com revistas para evitar a entrada de artefatos perigosos; as estações de metrô poderão ser fechadas; moradores e trabalhadores da avenida poderão circular normalmente.
Um plano de retirada de pessoas em caso de emergências deve ser preparado; as ideias para o remanejamento para o trânsito de carros e outros veículos devem ser publicados com 30 dias de antecedência.
O MP também definiu que devem ser tomadas medidas para atenuar o impacto sonoro, embora reconheça que algum grau de desconforto seja inevitável. O órgão também exigiu que um número suficiente de agentes de saúde e segurança esteja presente e uma quantia suficiente de banheiros seja colocada à disposição.
A decisão foi assinada pelo promotor Marcelo Otávio Camargo Ramos na manhã desta terça, com a presença do prefeito Ricardo Nunes (MDB). O processo segue agora para homologação do Conselho Superior do Ministério Público.
A realização de megashows era desejo de Nunes, principalmente após o sucesso das apresentações de Madonna e Lady Gaga em 2024 e 2025 na praia de Copacabana, no Rio de Janeiro.
