BRB apresenta plano de recomposição de capital ao BC – Money Times
O Banco de Brasília (BRB) afirmou nesta sexta-feira (6) que apresentou ao Banco Central uma série de medidas que a instituição implementará para recompor seu capital, caso se mostre necessário, em meio a uma investigação relacionada ao Banco Master.
"O documento entregue pelo BRB ao órgão regulador apresenta um conjunto de ações preventivas de recomposição de capital a serem implementadas nos próximos 180 dias, caso seja comprovada a necessidade de aporte financeiro", informou o BRB em nota após uma reunião entre o presidente do banco, Nelson Antônio de Souza, e o diretor de Regulação do BC, Gilneu Francisco Astolfi Vivan.
O banco destacou no comunicado que eventuais valores de aporte necessários só serão definidos após a conclusão das investigações.
Master e BRB
O Banco Central rejeitou, em setembro do ano passado, a compra do Master pelo BRB após concluir análise acerca da capacidade financeira da instituição, que tem como principal acionista o governo do Distrito Federal, para fazer frente ao negócio.
Em novembro, quando foi decretada a liquidação extrajudicial do Master pelo BC, dirigentes do BRB foram alvos de mandados de busca e apreensão e foram afastados dos cargos por suspeitas de envolvimento em irregularidades.
Na última terça-feira, a Reuters informou que a Polícia Federal abriu um inquérito criminal para apurar gestão fraudulenta no BRB.
Em nota, o BRB informou ter encaminhado à PF e ao Banco Central relatório preliminar de auditoria forense preparada pelo escritório de advocacia Machado & Meyer, contratado pelo banco, com "achados relevantes".
