O ministro afirmou a interlocutores também que o próprio fundo já vendeu as ações para terceiros, e com lucro. O negócio, portanto, teria sido lícito.
Na época, Vorcaro não frequentava as páginas policiais e era considerado um banqueiro em ascensão.
O ministro apontou também nos diálogos que todos os pedidos feitos pela Polícia Federal contra Vorcaro foram deferidos por ele —entre outros, novas buscas e apreensões nas investigações que apuram irregularidades na condução do Master.
