O ministro Dias Toffoli, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), negou na manhã desta quinta-feira, em nota divulgada pelo seu gabinete, ter recebido "qualquer valor" de Daniel Vorcaro, dono do Banco Master, ou do cunhado dele, Fabiano Zettel.
"O ministro esclarece que jamais recebeu qualquer valor de Daniel Vorcaro ou de seu cunhado Fabiano Zettel", disse o comunicado.
Na manifestação, o magistrado informou que "jamais teve qualquer relação de amizade e muito menos amizade íntima com o investigado Daniel Vorcaro".
A manifestação do ministro do STF ocorre um dia após a revelação de que o diretor-geral da Polícia Federal, Andrei Rodrigues, enviou ao presidente do STF, Edson Fachin, um relatório que aponta que há menções a Toffoli no telefone celular de Vorcaro, alvo de quebra de sigilo por policiais, segundo uma fonte. A PF, embora não tenha pedido a suspeição do ministro do STF, informou no relatório que há fatos que apontariam para a suspeição.
