O quadro de saúde de Bolsonaro neste momento, segundo o médico, é estável, mas chamou a situação de "realmente crítica" e "indesejada".
— Isso realmente põe em risco a vida do paciente. Uma pneumonia aspirativa pode fazer com que a pessoa evolua para uma insuficiência respiratória, e se você não intervir, morra. A gente está lidando com uma situação extremamente grave — disse.
Segundo o médico, essa pneumonia foi mais grave do que as duas que Bolsonaro teve em 2025. Nesse momento, o ex-presidente está recebendo tratamento para soluço, refluxo e fisioterapia.
— Vai ser um tratamento mais prolongado, diferente de uma pneumonia comum em que a pessoa recebe o antibiótico e vai pra casa — afirmou.

O médico também afirmou que ele não precisou ser entubado e que, neste momento, ele está consciente.
