O ex-vereador Carlos Bolsonaro informou, na noite deste domingo, 15, novas atualizações sobre o estado de saúde do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro, que permanece internado na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) do hospital DF Star, em Brasília.
Em publicação nas redes sociais, Carlos afirmou que o pai está "visivelmente inchado" e "irritado diante de tudo o que está acontecendo". Segundo ele, o inchaço seria um efeito colateral dos antibióticos administrados durante o tratamento.
Bolsonaro foi hospitalizado na sexta-feira, 13, após apresentar febre alta, queda na saturação de oxigênio, sudorese e calafrios. Após exames, os médicos diagnosticaram broncopneumonia bacteriana bilateral.

De acordo com Carlos Bolsonaro, os médicos teriam indicado que a situação poderia ter se agravado rapidamente caso o atendimento tivesse demorado mais.
"Conversei com os médicos, que foram muito claros: mais uma ou duas horas no estado em que ele se encontrava e, muito provavelmente, a morte teria ocorrido", escreveu.
Ainda na sexta-feira, o médico Claudio Birolini havia alertado que o quadro apresentava risco de um evento potencialmente fatal, diante da gravidade da infecção pulmonar.
Bolsonaro segue internado sob monitoramento intensivo enquanto recebe tratamento com antibióticos e acompanhamento da equipe médica.
