Segundo o secretário da Receita Federal, Robinson Barreirinhas, há um grupo significativo de brasileiros de renda mais baixa que tem valores a restituir, mas acaba não recebendo o dinheiro porque não entrega a declaração anual.
Isso ocorre porque essas pessoas não se enquadram nos critérios de obrigatoriedade do Imposto de Renda e, muitas vezes, nem sabem que possuem restituição a receber, afirma o secretário.
Segundo a Receita, o valor médio da restituição será de aproximadamente R$ 125, enquanto o limite máximo para pagamento automático será de R$ 1 mil por contribuinte.

Quem terá direito ao cashback do Imposto de Renda
De acordo com a Receita Federal, o pagamento automático será direcionado a contribuintes que atendam aos seguintes critérios:
Não estavam obrigados a declarar e não entregaram a declaração do Imposto de Renda 2025;
Tiveram retenção de imposto na fonte em 2025;
Possuem direito a restituição de até R$ 1 mil;
Estão com CPF regular e apresentam baixo risco fiscal;
Possuem chave Pix vinculada ao CPF.
