Piloto morre após queda de avião agrícola no Rio Grande do Sul
Aeronave caiu após dificuldade para ganhar altitude durante decolagem
Um acidente aéreo resultou na morte do piloto Jorge Luís Castanho de Maris, de 38 anos, na manhã desta segunda-feira, 16, na região Noroeste do Rio Grande do Sul.
Segundo informações da polícia, o homem pilotava uma aeronave agrícola que caiu pouco depois da decolagem em uma área rural localizada entre os municípios de Cruz Alta e Ibirubá.
De acordo com o delegado Ives Trindade, responsável pela investigação, o piloto havia abastecido o avião momentos antes do acidente. Durante a tentativa de decolagem, no entanto, a aeronave não conseguiu subir o suficiente. Em seguida, uma das asas atingiu uma barragem localizada no fim da pista.
Com o impacto, o avião perdeu o controle, capotou e foi arrastado pelo solo por cerca de 100 metros, segundo relato do delegado.
Aeronave pegou fogo após a queda
Após atingir o chão, a aeronave acabou incendiando, provocando um fogo no local do acidente. Equipes do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Rio Grande do Sul foram acionadas para conter as chamas e atender a ocorrência.
