Nove guardas municipais da Serra, na Região Metropolitana da Grande Vitória, são investigados por crime de tortura, extorsão e tráfico de drogas. A Polícia Civil cumpriu mandados de busca e apreensão na residência dos agentes durante operação, nesta terça-feira (17). Todos estão afastados do cargo por decisão judicial.
O secretário adjunto da Secretaria de Defesa Social da Serra, Wellington Kunsch, contou à reportagem de A Gazeta que o afastamento começou nesta terça por tempo indeterminado. O responsável pela pasta explicou ainda que um procedimento administrativo pode ser instaurado após o fim da investigação.
"Esse procedimento será melhor orientado com a conclusão do inquérito. A fase agora é apuratória e as pessoas que são alvo do inquérito vão ter direito à defesa, constituir os esclarecimentos. De acordo com a decisão, pode ser estabelecido um procedimento administrativo em paralelo. Mas isso corre de maneira independente. Destaco que a Secretaria de Defesa Social tem comprometimento com a transparência, com a legalidade e com a apuração rigorosa dos fatos", explicou o secretário.
Durante a ação, foram apreendidos celulares e, com alguns investigados, também havia simulacros de arma de fogo e carregador de pistola.

O procedimento foi realizado pela Polícia Civil do Espírito Santo (PCES), por meio do Departamento Especializado de Narcóticos (Denarc), em ação conjunta à Coordenadoria de Operações e Recursos Especiais (Core) e com acompanhamento da Corregedoria da Guarda Municipal de Serra.
