Amazon acquires Globalstar for $11.6 billion to compete with Starlink

Amazon announced the acquisition of satellite company Globalstar for $11.6 billion. The acquisition is part of the company's plans to compete with Elon Musk's Starlink in the satellite internet market through the Leo project.
