ANP considers transferring oil auctions to B3 starting in 2027

2 sources · 28 Apr 2026 · Share coverage ·

ANP announced it is studying transferring the Permanent Offer auctions for oil and gas to B3 starting in 2027. The agency would maintain responsibility for strategic aspects of the bidding processes, while the stock exchange would conduct auction operations.

The Permanent Offer is a bidding model for oil and natural gas exploration and production (E&P) areas conducted by ANP. The proposal to transfer operational aspects to B3 would allow the agency to focus on strategic decisions, such as defining which blocks to offer and when to do so.
