The Pre-Participation Sports Evaluation (APP), recommended by the Brazilian Society of Exercise and Sports Medicine (SBMEE) jointly with the Brazilian Society of Cardiology (SBC), requires resting electrocardiogram, complete blood count, glucose, cholesterol and renal function tests for beginners aged 20-39 without risk factors.
