Axia Energia announces CEO Ivan Monteiro succession and R$ 1.4 billion investments

Axia Energia reported that it invested R$ 1.4 billion in the first quarter of 2026, a 36% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The company also announced the start of CEO Ivan Monteiro's succession process, creating a temporary executive vice-presidency for Élio Wolff starting in June.

Axia Energia is the former Eletrobras, which was privatized in 2022. Ivan Monteiro assumed the company's board presidency in August 2022, shortly after privatization, and moved to executive leadership in August 2023.
